Workaround, if any
You are unable to create upgrade packages for 32-bit applications using 64-bit Composer.
Use 32-bit Composer on a 32-bit computer to create upgrade packages for 32-bit applications.
You are unable to see the Toolbars & Docking Windows and Application Lock options under VIEW on Windows Vista 64-bit.
This occurs only on Windows Vista 64-bit and does not affect functionality.
Creating an upgrade package fails if Partial activation is enabled on the virtual layer on the packaging computer.
If you receive an "unable to open files" error when creating an upgrade package, make sure that partial activation is disabled on the virtual layer you are upgrading.
When using the Wise Virtual Composer command line interface, the /o switch doesn't work if the location contains files that were created during a failed export.
Delete all of the files in the specified location and re-export the package.
You receive an error message while trying to create XPF packages using the mapped network path.
Copy the installation source to the local packaging computer.
You see “Engine.Product.ID” as the Property value for Open Office 3.0 instead of the product ID in the Open Office 3.0 default template file.
This problem only occurs in Windows Vista. To avoid this problem, run Wise Virtual Composer on a different operating system.
You receive an error in the Layer Wizard after selecting Data layer as the Layer Type.
