If Symantec Web Gateway or user computers connect to the Internet through a proxy, configure the proxy settings.
To configure the proxy settings in the setup wizard
Access the setup wizard and complete the User Information and Server Information panels.
See Running the setup wizard for initial installation.
If Symantec Web Gateway connects to the Internet through a proxy, check Use proxy for Symantec Web Gateway secure communication with Symantec Security Reponse and specify the following information:
Proxy Server Address
Type the fully qualified domain name or IP address of the proxy server.
Type the port to use on the proxy server.
If user computers connect to the Internet through a proxy, check Analyze HTTP port used by proxy and specify the port or port range.
