PGP Universal Server Cluster Updates
Updates to the PGP Universal Server software are not propagated among cluster members.
When applying updates to a PGP Universal Server in a cluster, each server must update their own software.
|Caution: If you update the software of one member of a cluster, you must update the software of all of the others as well. While the software updates are applied to the PGP Universal Server, the cluster members will temporarily be running different versions of the software, but they will continue to share cluster data.|
Unless you are utilizing the option to Automatically Install updates, use the following steps to manually install updates.
Apply Software Updates
- Download available software updates to the Primary and Secondary servers.
- First, install the update(s) to the Primary server in the cluster.
Note: The Install icon lets you manually install an update. If you are installing updates manually, you must install them in order when you are installing more than one.
Click the icon in the Install column to manually install an update.
- Next, install the update(s) to the Secondary servers in the cluster.
