Does Symantec offer assistance in using the Dell OMCI protocol that Dell Client Solution and Dell Management Console utilize, such as help with making system calls to web services, or programming this?
While certain Dell products in Altiris leverage Dell's protocol, Symantec Technical Support does not offer assistance with making system calls or programming OMCI in any way. Dell may or may not provide assistance for this. Dell can be reached at (800) 945-3355.
Note: If the question is regarding using (not programming) Dell OMCI for Dell Client Solution (DCS), this only supports up to 20-inch monitors. If the user sees issues using DCS with larger monitors, this will not work as it was never designed to with larger sizes.
