The Proactive Threat Protection (PTP) component of Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) is not working correctly.
The following error message is in the user interface:
Proactive Threat Protection is malfunctioning. Proactive Threat Protection is not functioning correctly. Your protection definitions may be damaged or your product installation may be corrupt.
This can happen if files in the installed product become corrupted.
To solve the problem, uninstall and reinstall Symantec Endpoint Protection. To take advantage of the latest enhancements, fixes and improvements, please install the latest available release of the SEP client.
