Question Answer
Can Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager manage clients in another language?

Yes.

Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager can manage clients in any language. Because clients request specific content updates from the server, they always receive the correct language updates.

Can a Group Update Provider provide content updates for clients in more than one language?

Yes.

None of the updates that can be provided by the Group Update Provider are language-specific.

Can Symantec Endpoint Protection Management servers that run in different languages connect to the same database?

No.

All Symantec Endpoint Protection Management servers that connect to the same database must be in the same language.

Can Symantec Endpoint Protection Management servers that run in different languages replicate?

No.

Symantec Endpoint Protection Management servers must run in the same language in order to replicate with each other.

Can Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager be installed on an Operating System where the language does not match the SEPM language?

No.

The SEPM install language must match the Operating System install language to properly detect and install as the desired language.

Example:  If a SEPM localized build in Spanish is installed on an Operating System that is in English, when the SEPM install completes, it will be an English SEPM.
