What are the command line options for NGCONS.EXE?
To get a list of command line switches, open a command prompt and change the directory to c:\Program Files\Symantec\Ghost
When you're in the Ghost folder, type this command: NGCONS.EXE /HELP
Execute the command "ngcons.exe /HELP" from a command line to get the following output:
e/ task_name (must be the first parameter specified and include the subfolder path if applicable)
/dd1 - destination drive
/dp1 - destination partition, only specified for partition operations
/sp1 - source partition, only specified for partition operations
/img image_resource - image resource name
/conf 1|2:template_name - 1 is default configuration
- 2 is template configuration
/tfs file_path - source file path
/tfd 1|2|3:c:\this_folder - 1 is Ghost Incoming directory
- 2 is Ghost partition
- 3 is specified path
/cmd 1:file_path|2:file_path - 1 is target OS, 2 is in Ghost partition
/cmdarg "/batch 1" - command arguments
/ai 1:ai_packages|2:ai_packages2 - 1 is install, 2 is remove
User Migration: Capture:
/mcn packages_name - migration packgages specified name
/mt template_name - migration template name
User Migration: Restore:
/mrn packages_name - specified restore packgages name
