Kernel parameters are not being collected in bv-Control for UNIX and Control Compliance Suite for UNIX
ndd commands are not being executed
Product configured with incorrect user context.It is recommended that root user be configured to gaterh this data field.
As root, install the product using the native UNIX command or installation:
pkgadd -d /tmp/bv-Control.<version>
Run the setup.sh script as root also.
If native(local user) credentials are used to install or configure, the bvcontrold agent will run under that context and not as root.
It must run with full root privileges to guarantee the accuracy of the data. Refer to the on-line help under "Configuring UNIX agents manually"
