Customer is unable to install CCS Reporting and Analytics, and believes the problem lies with permissions to SQL Server.
The following privileges are required to install the CCS Application Server component:
Domain user if using Windows authentication for the SQL Server or local user if using SQL authentication for the SQL server
Local administrator (of the local computer)
sysadmin role (on the SQL server)
The following privileges are required for the CCS Application Server service (post-installation):
SQLAgentUserRole, db_datareader, and db_dtsoperator roles set for MSDB system database
db_datareader role set for the CSM_DB production database.
Logon as a batch job on the SSIS computer
The following privileges are required for the CCS Data Processing Service (DPS) in the reporting role (post-installation):
db_datareader and db_datawriter roles for CSM_Reports database
Delete, execute, insert, and update permissions on CSM_Reports database
Note: The Microsoft SQL Agent Service must be set up as a local system account. If a domain account is used, then the account must be assigned to the sysadmin role for the Microsoft SQL Server. In addition, the account must be added to the group SQLServer2005SQLAgentUserComputer_NameInstance_Name.
