I am migrating Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange (SMSMSE) to another Exchange server, or I am setting up a new Exchange server in my organization. Can I use the same SLF license file to register the product on my new server?

One of the following applies to you: 

• You would like to have multiple Exchange servers running in your organization with SMSMSE installed.
• You have deployed a new Exchange server, and wish to test SMSMSE on the new server before decommissioning the old server.

The same SLF license file can be installed in Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange (SMSMSE) on multiple Exchange servers within your organization.

Symantec's licensing for SMSMSE works on a per-seat basis and not per-server, meaning that you can have as many servers with SMSMSE installed as you like within your organization, providing that your license covers the number of seats you have.
