There is no option to move clients from an Active Directory (AD)/LDAP synchronized Organizational Unit (OU) or container.
AD or LDAP synchronized clients can be copied to a non-synchronized client group. Copied clients will still show in their synchronized group, but will show as offline. A copy of the client will show as online in the group they are copied to. Copied clients will use the policies assigned to the group they are copied to.
To copy a client from its synchronized group to a non-synchronized group:
Log in to the Manager console.
Locate the client you wish to copy in your imported AD/LDAP heirarchy.
receive the client and click Copy.
Select the appropriate group, and click OK.
Note: Clients can only be copied to a single group. If you attempt to copy a client that has already been copied, you will recieve an error message stating the client already exists in another group. The message will include the group the copy of the client exists in. If you need to copy the client to a different group, can can locate the copy of the client in the group it's currently copied to, and move it to the appropriate group.
