Altiris requires Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable (64-bit) to be installed on Symantec Management Platform server in order to access data in an Excel spreadsheet externally from the Excel software.

Download and install Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable (64-bit) (AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe) from the following Microsoft website onto the Symantec Management Platform server:

Or, to download the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable (64-bit) (AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe) from the following Microsoft website onto the Symantec Management Platform server:

Afterwards, open a Data Connector data source, point it to an Excel file or in the "Worksheet name" field, click on the Refresh button and the error should no longer occur.
