Following issues were observed on the CCS 11.0 Agent:
The asset import failed as the IP address 0.0.0.0 was listed twice in the Asset IP address list.
The Asset IP address field displayed the value 0.0.0.0 even when the proper IP address was configured for the agent.
The data collection failed as the loopback IP 127.0.0.2 was incorrectly registered for an agent.
A preferred IP address could not be specified for an asset in case of multiple IP scenario.
Apply Quick Fix 10009 to resolve the issues. –I switch is now added to the register utility, which is used to specify the preferred IP address for an asset in case of multiple IP scenario. Invalid and loopback IP addresses are ignored while registering an agent and the agent or asset is registered with the valid IP.
IP provided for –I should be a valid IPv4 address. Registration will succeed even if the IP address that is provided is invalid.
