The customer has purge maintenance configured to delete computers if they haven't reported in 30 days.
When computers are deleted, the data for the computer is left in the itemreplication table.
If data changes in any of the inventory classes and the data is replicated up, the replication process is checking the hashes and because they match, is NOT creating a new resource for the computer.
This issue has been reported to Symantec Developement. A permanent fix has been planned for our next release.
