What is the VERITAS Volume Replicator (tm) 3.1 for Windows 2000 Enterprise Agent and how can it be obtained?

VERITAS Cluster Server (tm) Enterprise Agents monitor specific
resources within an Enterprise application, determine the status of these
resources, and start or stop them according to external events to provide high
availability. These tasks are common to all agents, but how they are performed
depends on the resource being monitored. The Cluster Server Enterprise Agent for
VERITAS Volume Replicator 3.1 starts and stops the replication of a Volume
Replicator replicated volume group (RVG) and monitors the status of the
replication. The agent provides high availability for Volume Replicator in a
Cluster Server clustered environment.
Specific agent operations
- Starts replication of an RVG
- Stops replication of an RVG
- Queries the status of the
Windows 2000 Server (with Service Pack 2 or later) or Advanced Server (with
Service Pack 2 or later)
Volume Manager (tm) 3.1 for Windows 2000 with Cluster Server support
nodes must have adequate resources to run Volume Manager 3.1, Volume Replicator
3.1, and Cluster Server 2.0
and nodes must support the TCP/IP protocol
Server 2.0 must be installed and configured on all nodes.
