The following issues related to the Symantec Protection Engine (SPE) decomposer have been resolved:

1. APK files created with JDK 1.8 are treated as malformed.
2. Multiple different formats of properly formatted PDF files are treated as malformed.
3. Some properly formed PPTX files being detected as malformed. 

A hotfix has been produced to address all the above issues. Use the hotfix appropriate to the installed version of SPE in the attachments section below. For instructions on how to apply the hotfix, see the readme.txt inside the package appropriate to the installed version of SPE.
