Error code 3001 while launching VIP Access for Android after upgrading from VIP Access 3.1.3 (or earlier) → 4.0.x.

1. If running version 3.x or earlier, upgrade to 4.0.x or later.
2. If running version 4.0.0, clear the app cache before attempting to upgrade to 4.0.x:
   • Access the Android device settings.
   • Select Applications (then Application Manager, if applicable).
   • Select VIP Access from the app list, then select Storage.
   • Select the option to clear the application cache (do not clear the application data).
   • Reboot the device and install 4.0.1 from the Google Play store.
3. If the above steps fail, uninstall VIP Access from the device.(Note: a new credential ID will be issued after completing these steps)
4. Clear the application cache using the same steps above, then reboot the device.
5. Download and install VIP Access for Android 4.0.1 (or later) from the Google Play Store.
6. During the initial launch, allow VIP Access the necessary phone permissions. (The are mainly generic permissions asked by many apps)
7. Re-register the newly-created credential.
