VERITAS Volume Replicator (tm) 3.1 for Windows 2000 - Disaster Recovery of Microsoft Exchange 2000
VERITAS Volume Replicator for Windows 2000 now supports
disaster recovery of Microsoft Exchange 2000 by using the VERITAS Volume
Replicator for Windows 2000 Disaster Recovery of a Microsoft Exchange 2000
Database Solution Guide. The solution requires a utility, VxMvMbx, to be used to
redirect the mailboxes from the old server to the new server during a migrate or
takeover operation. This utility modifies the active directory to change the
server ownership of the mailboxes in the given storage group. However, it does
not move the mailbox data. Instructions on the use of VxMvMbx are included in
the Solution Guide.
The Solution Guide and the VxMvMbx utility can be
downloaded as a package, VVR_E2K_254151.exe. Use the following steps to
download and extract this package:
1. Scroll to the bottom of this
techfile and click Download Now
