When installing the VIP Access for Desktop, activation can 'hang' when traffic cannot get through to the Symantec cloud.
No error message (appears hung), or error: Activation could not be completed. Sign in again later to activate VIP Access. Error Code: 0x10, error 5007
Activation requires network access
The following URLs are used during the activation of VIP Access Desktop:

Once activated and a credential ID is received, internet access isn't required for that user for one-time password (OTP) generation unless the Reset option is selected from the menu. This option forces the credential ID to re-sync with the VIP cloud.
