Issue/Introduction

Root Cause: As SSL client, the Symantec ProxySG did not trust certificates issued by the Certificate Authority (CA) which is not stored inside CA list.

Resolution

Importing the CA from the website into ProxySG's CA addressed the problem.

To import  CA certificate into ProxySG CA store:

  1. Go to Configuration > SSL > CA Certificates > CA Certificates tab, and click the Import button.
  2. Enter New CA Certificate name, and copy and paste the certificate into the column in PEM format.
    •    Example:

  3. Click OK and Apply to save changes and configurations.
  4. Go to CA Certificate Lists, select 'browser-trusted' then select 'Edit'
  5. Move the new CA you have added from the left to the right and click 'OK' then 'Apply'
