2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."

3. Click "Repair your computer."

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

Status: 0x000000f

Info: An unexpected error has occurred.

Environment

Ghost Solution Suite 3.3

iPXE installed

Cause

GSS WinPE PXE images are created with file bootmgfw.efi, while machine with enabled secure boot seeks bootx64.efi for 64bit image and bootia32.efi for 32bit image.

So image with default bootmgfw.efi is not booted to machine with enabled secure boot with blue screen unexpected error 0xc000000f

Resolution

There are two workarounds:

1 - Disable secure boot. This option may not always correct the behavior and has been observed even with secure boot disabled.

OR

2 - Open PXE image folder ('program files x86\altiris\express\deployent server\PXE\Images\<iPXE config name>\x64')and rename bootmgfw.efi to bootx64.efi(for 64bit image) and rename bootmgfw.efi to bootia32.efi for 32bit image. This should not affect iPXE booting for machines that don't exhibit the problematic behavior.
