This document describes best practices for the Max Server Memory option in SQL Server.
For performance reasons, Symantec recommends the minimum value of "max server memory" option of SQL Server to be based on the number of clients Symantec Protection Center manages.
If the configured value of SQL Server does not meet this requirement, a warning message will appear when you install, upgrade, or configure Symantec Protection Center.
If you need to change the max server memory for SQL Server, follow the instructions provided by Microsoft: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178067.aspx.
