One of the computers in your server group shows the "Virus Found!" status with the associated icon. You have successfully cleaned or quarantined the virus, but the alert still appears in the Symantec System Center.
SSC shows this alert even after the virus or Trojan has been dealt with to make sure that the threat is not ignored. This keeps viruses from popping up in large numbers without an administrator knowing about them. This alert needs to be manually cleared.
To clear the virus status
Start the SSC.
Right-click the affected computer.
Do one of the following:
In Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition 7.x, click All Tasks > Norton AntiVirus > Clear Virus Status.
In Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 8.x and 9.x, click All Tasks > Symantec AntiVirus > Clear Virus Status.
