When you view scheduled scans for either Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition or Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition (AV) on NetWare servers at the server console, you see that an Administrator Scan has been set. You did not create it, and you cannot delete it. In the Symantec System Center, there are no scheduled scans listed.
This can be caused by minor corruption in the AV registry on the NetWare server.
To resolve the problem:
From the NetWare server, bring up the AV console.
Unload the AV console by pressing Alt+F10.
From a client with a drive mapped to the SYS:\System folder on the server, delete the VPREG folder.
