In the error hex codes; there is a first part called the HRESULT values (0x0000XXX) that shows the type of error.

System error codes

  • 1, 0x00000001, Incorrect function.
  • 2, 0x00000002, The system cannot find the file specified.
  • 3, 0x00000003, The system cannot find the path specified.
