This component lets you trigger an exception (an error). This is useful if you want to customize error messages displayed to users.
All trigger information is saved in a set of variables for future use in your project. The output variables always contain data from the last triggered exception.
This component catches any exception that happens in the model. When an exception happens in the project, the project jumps to the Exception Trigger component and follows the path out of the Exception Trigger component (usually to the End component). Because of this, you should only have one Exception Trigger component in a model. If you want to be more specific with your exception handling, use one of the other Exception Trigger components (for example, Exception Trigger By Component).
