Configuring the Symantec Management Agent settings for evaluation use
By default, the Symantec Management Agent requests new configuration from Notification Server once per hour. This means that it can take up to one hour for a rollout policy to reach the target computer.
If you are evaluating this solution in a lab environment, you can change the configuration request interval to speed up the evaluation process.
The next time the Symantec Management Agent downloads configuration information, these settings take effect. If you used the default agent configuration values before the change, updates can take up to one hour before these changes are effective.
