Is SSL encryption supported for communication between the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and Microsoft SQL Server?

Microsoft SQL Server provides a means to encrypt communication with an SSL certificate (as described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316898). You wish to know if this is supported with the database used by the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.

This configuration is not supported with the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
