Issue/Introduction
An ECC PGP key uses Elliptic-Curve Cryptography to create the key.
PGP Command Line can create ECC PGP keys that use P-256, P-384 or P-521 elliptic curves and PGP Encryption Desktop can import these keys.
However, Symantec PGP Encryption products cannot currently import keys that use Curve 25519.
Environment
Encryption Desktop, Encryption Management server and PGP Command Line 10.5 and above.
Resolution
If a third party is using these types of keys, reach out to Symantec reach out to Symantec Encryption Support for further guidance.
