There was an issue with pattern update failures for Kaspersky. Error messages indicate missing or broken ZIP archives.
As of Friday, Nov 4th, all services have been restored. Automatic updates should now proceed without errors. You can also manually update your ProxyAV appliances. Blue Coat is still investigating why this happened and a more complete root cause analysis will be provided at a later date. If you are still continuing to see failed updates, contact Blue Coat support.
Please watch this article for future status updates.
NOTE: Although new definitions were failing to download, the ProxyAV should not have stopped scanning traffic based on the definition updates already loaded on the appliance.
