Initial testing performed by Symantec shows that a range of the IT Management Suite functionality can be used to manage client computers that use Windows Embedded 8.1. The scope of support is limited to specific components and solutions as indicated below. Additional limitations may apply. If so, they are listed under the known limitations section. To install Symantec Management Agent on Windows Embedded 8.1 client computers, you have to make sure that all required components of the operating system are installed.
Symantec will issue a Full Support statement once the full testing of the new operating systems is performed and all the known limitations are addressed.
