What action is required when you receive a notification to re-open the SEPM app?

In order to continuously monitor security threats on the device, the Symantec Endpoint Protection Mobile (SEPM) app needs to run in the background. When for some reason the app is not running, the user will receive a notification prompting him to reopen the app.
This could happen either when the user manually forces the app to close (swipes it out of the screen in the recently used apps screen) or, on more rare occasions, when the app was closed by the device OS, for instance, due to extreme load on the device.
