Symantec announces the general availability of Symantec Critical System Protection (SCSP) version 7.2.0 MP2. Version 7.2.0 MP2 contains product enhancements, and it resolves some important defects.
Enhancements made in 7.2.0 MP2
Secure boot compatibility: Starting from version 7.2.0 MP2, CSP running on Windows platforms is compliant with Secure Boot standards.
Issues resolved in 7.2.0 MP2
If you install 2018-05 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x86-based Systems (KB4103718) on a CSP protected ATM system and restart it, the system may report login issues.
Due to larger size of Live update content, there is heavy network traffic between the CSP management server and agent.
If you register your CSP 7.2 agents to a Symantec Data Center Security (DCS) 6.7 MP3 Server Manager, those agents might report incorrect sandbox names (for example, the sandbox name is reported as "ffffff")
Logging on to the CSP management console might take longer than usual (for example, seven minutes).
In certain Windows 10 LTSB systems protected by CSP, access to files might be denied.
After installing the 7.2.0 MP1 agent on Windows XP systems, when you reboot that system, the SISIPSService and sisipsutil services stop to function.
Supported upgrade paths to 7.2.0 MP2
If you are currently on any of the following versions of CSP or Symantec Embedded Security: Critical System Protection (SES:CSP), you can directly upgrade your management server and agent to version 7.2.0 MP2:
