Symantec announces the availability of version 6.1.0 of the ICSP Neural product.
What's new in Symantec ICSP Neural 6.1.0?
Support for scanning BitLocker encrypted devices: You can now scan BitLocker encrypted USB devices for the NTFS file system. To initiate the scan, you must enter the BitLocker encryption password or the recovery key. For more information about using this feature, see Scanning a removable USB device.
Support for scanning IronKey encrypted devices: You can now scan IronKey D300S and D300 devices. To initiate the scan, you must enter the IronKey encryption passphrase. To be able to access the scanned IronKey devices on an ICSP driver-enforced system, the version of the ICSP driver must be 6.1.0. For more information about using this feature, see Scanning a removable USB device.
Event notifications enhancements: Starting from ICSP 6.1.0, the scan alerts that you receive on your syslog, SNMP and email notifications display the hash values of files which are infected (tagged as Infected) and malformed or password-protected (tagged as Greyware). However, the hash values of infected files within an archive file are not displayed. For more information, see Configuring syslog notification, Configuring SNMP notifications and Configuring email notification. SNMP traps are now split into multiples of 255 bytes and are tagged with a Trap ID. The Trap ID is unique for all the traps for a single log. For more information, see Configuring SNMP notifications.
Resolved defects: Several defects have been resolved for improving scanning performance and the overall quality of the product.
