Connect to ATP UI:
Go to Settings =>Global Settings Make sure Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) Databases & Endpoint Detection and Response shows Healthy and Connected properly with the SEPM. If youl find alert or failure please contact Symantec.
Note:Status_check only shows whether we can reach the sites or not it doesn’t mean if it’s able to connect to ssl or not. Please contact the support for the same (As we need root privilege).
If there is a proxy server deployed between appliance and symantec backend, it is appreciated if we can turn proxy off and connect to symantec backend as pass through, then check if there is a difference.
If there is a TLS inspection gateway deployed between appliance and symantec, please set pass-through for *.brightmail.com and *.symantec.com which is current design, connection between atp and symantec backend must not be inspected by TLS inspection engine.
