After installing and configuring the software, you must start the service. It does not automatically start.
You then change and save the configuration file. You must restart the Smart Connect Service or restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
Starting the Smart Connect service
Select Start > Control Panel > Administrator Tools > Services > Smart Connect.
Right-click to open the context menu, and click Start.
Restarting the Smart Connect service
Right-click to open the context menu, and click Restart.
