Is Encryption Management Server 3.4 and its associated products FIPS validated?
The following products and status of each with regard to FIPS validation:
Encryption Management Server - not currently FIPS validated.
Encryption Desktop for Windows 10.4 and above - FIPS validated by default. If the standalone client is being used, no changes to enable FIPS mode are required. There is a current issue with enabling the FIPS mode option for this client. See article TECH235623 for more information about this issue.
Encryption Desktop for Windows prior to 10.4 - the option for FIPS validation is not enabled by default but can be enabled.
Encryption Desktop for Mac - not currently FIPS validated.
Encryption Desktop for Linux - not currently FIPS validated.
Please subscribe to this article and check back periodically for updates. Symantec Corporation is currently working to obtain FIPS validation for the rest of these products.

Scroll down to "FIPS Validated Symantec Products", and click on "View More".
Locate the Symantec Encryption Product in question.
Note: If Symantec Encryption Management Server 3.3 is listed, this includes all releases within this branch. For example, 3.3.2 MP13 is part of the 3.3 branch. Symantec Encryption Management Server 3.4.1 would not be part of the 3.3 branch.
