Getting error "12 device(s) are not capable of running this task" when attempting to schedule an Inventory task

Issue/Introduction
The customer could not add the new computers to the schedule for the custom inventory task.
On the schedule, the customer is selecting the Target "exclude resources not in - filter - All computers with Inventory Plug-in".
When updating that schedule it returns 15 computers.
When clicking on "OK" it fails saying "12 device(s) are not capable of running this task".
It does show the first three test boxes as available.
Environment
ITMS 7.x, 8.x
Cause
The Altiris Agent and all the plug-ins, including the Inventory plug-in, had just been installed and the Resource Membership had not been updated.
Resolution
Navigate to Settings > Notification Server > Resource Membership Update.
Run the "Complete Update Schedule" to update the Filter, Organizational Group, and Target membership.
