Configuring Cloud Workload Protection for LiveUpdate

To keep the security posture of your cloud resources up-to-date, you need the Anti-malware definitions to be updated. The definitions are updated whenever Cloud Workload Protection synchronises with the latest Anti-Malware definitions downloaded from the Symantec LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) server. Currently, the latest Anti-Malware definitions are available only for the default Unix Anti-Malware policy group of Cloud Workload Protection.
You must download and deploy the LiveUpdate Administrator server before you configure the Cloud Workload Protection. You also need to add the product version Symantec Cloud Workload Protection 1.5 English in the My Symantec Products page of LUA. Refer to this article to know more about installing and configuring the LUA server.
To configure LiveUpdate settings for Unix Anti-Malware Policy
On the Cloud Workload Protection console, go to the Policies page > Policy Group tab.
Select and click on the Unix Anti-Malware Policy.
In the View Policy page, expand the LiveUpdate settings section and configure the following:
Provide the LiveUpdate Administrator server IP address with its port such as, http://xxxx:7070/xxx/ to download the Anti-Malware definitions from the LUA server. By default, this will be empty as the Cloud Workload Protection agent downloads the Anti-Malware definitions from the default Symantec LUA server.
This is the time interval for the Cloud Workload Protection agent to poll the LUA server for the latest definitions. By default, the value is set as 28800 seconds.
