After you create stand-alone inventory packages on Notification Server, you run the packages on target computers to gather inventory data. Stand-alone inventory packages are EXE files.

(Optional) Use command-line switches to modify the default behavior of the package.
Run the stand-alone inventory package.
(Optional) If you distribute the stand-alone inventory packages manually, you must also manually copy the inventory data files to the Notification Server computer after you run the package.
