Product version: Symantec Brightmail Gateway 9.0 and later versions
In addition to this error, if the error occurred as the result of a specific message, there may be a slight loss of antispam effectiveness for that particular message. If the message occurred as a result of a system issue, any loss of effectiveness may affect all messages. However, this error at most affects a single type of antispam protection out of the several antispam protection that are constantly in use. Further, it is far more likely that the error only affects a single signature or a small number of signatures, rather than all signatures of this particular type.
This error may occur several times in succession, and one or more other errors may occur before this error.
This error can have any number of possible causes. If any other errors occurred immediately before this error, refer to them to determine the cause of this issue. If this error occurs multiple times in succession (likely with different name values), refer only to the first error when attempting to diagnose this issue.
If the name in the first error or another error that precedes this error is referencing module, initialize, or rules, then delete the current ruleset by using the delete intsigrules command. Restart services by using the service connector restart command and the service mta restart command. If the error does not occur again, the issue is resolved.
If the error does not include these references, occurs only once, or infrequently, you may disregard it. If it happens repeatedly, restart the MTA service by using the service mta restart command.
