Symantec Email Submission Client accesses the mailboxes and creates folders using a service account. This service account requires the following permissions:
On Exchange 2010 environment, ensure that the SESC service account user is a member of Exchange Organization Management Exchange security group.
On Exchange 2007 environment, ensure that the SESC service account user is a member of Exchange Organization Administrators Exchange security group.
Obtain or create a Windows account that Email Submission Client uses to interact with the Exchange server.

To specify service settings
In the Email Submission Client user interface, click the Configuration tab.
In the User name text box, click the lock and type the domain and the user name in the domain\username format.
In the Password text box, click the lock and type the password.
Click Actions and then click Start service to start Email Submission Client service.
