Routing rule evaluation lets you view the scope for the assets and the rules against which the assets are evaluated.
If for any reason, the jobs cannot be routed based on the rules that you have defined, the jobs are first routed to network affinity if the assets are in the same or in the accessible subnet as that of the CCS Manager. If they are not, then the jobs are routed to the default site where a CCS Manager must be present in the collector role.
The Evaluate Routing Rules task takes into consideration the CCS Managers for evaluation, irrespective of their role. However, the CCS asset-related tasks are routed to all the CCS Managers based on their roles and the defined routing rules.
The rules are evaluated based on their priority. You can change the priority of a routing rule from the Change Priority submenu. The value sets the priority of the routing rule.
Priority is assigned numerically. The priority levels range from 1 being the highest priority and the count of the number of rules that you create being the lowest priority. For example, if you create 5 routing rules, 1 is the highest priority and 5 is the lowest priority.
