Verify that the data collector for the given asset type is properly configured.
The error message "An Error occurred in Data Query activity: Unable to retrieve list of Assets from directory server: No Assets were resolved from the directory, either due to insufficient permissions or an invalid job definition" appears during asset import job processing.
Verify that the Application Server service account is trusted for delegation.
Verify that the Service Principal Names are properly registered.
After CCS installation, when you initiate Oracle asset import job scoped to Windows or UNIX Machine, the job may fail with the following error:
Oracle Data Collector: An error occurred during query execution. The 'Symantec CCS Oracle Database' data-collection module could not be initialized.
Install Oracle Instant Client 10.2.0.4 on your computer.
Download the Oracle Instant Client 10.2.0.4
Copy the contents of the package to directory at a known location or CCS manager\Control\Oracle folder on CCS manager DC.
Symantec reccomends that the Oracle Instant Client files must not be stored in the Control Compliance Suite installation directory.
Add the directory path to the PATH environment variable at system level.
Restart CCS manager service.
When you execute an asset import job for assets of type VMware or Exchange through Information Server, the job may fail with the following error:
An error occurred during query execution.
You must have Information Server v10.5.1 along with latest CCS Platform and Content Update (PCU) installed on your computer. The minimum PCU version requirement is 2011-3 Update.
