After you import external system data, you can do any of the following by using the Control Compliance Suite infrastructure:
You can import external data into Control Compliance Suite and represent the data by using the CCS dashboards and reports.
Display the imported data by using the Control Compliance Suite dashboards.
Correlate the imported data to the existing Control Compliance Suite assets and evaluate the data in terms of policy compliance and asset risk score.
View the evaluated data in the compliance related reports and dashboards along with Control Compliance Suite evaluation data.
To import external system data, you need to first add the external system to the Control Compliance Suite and then create a data connection.
Table: Data import methods and the supported data type contains descriptions on the various data import methods that you can use based on the kind of data that the external data system contains.
