About the Symantec Data Loss Prevention Connector Configuration Migration utility
The Symantec Data Loss Prevention Connector Configuration Migration utility lets you migrate the configuration settings of the earlier Symantec DLP Connector to the preintegrated data system. You need to run this utility after you upgrade to the Control Compliance Suite 10.5.1 release.
In CCS 10.5.1, Symantec DLP is a pre-integrated data system and is accessed from the External Data Integration workspace.
The utility must be run on the computer where the Symantec Data Loss Prevention Connector is installed.
The Symantec DLP connector configuration migration utility migrates the following configuration settings:
Symantec Data Loss Prevention Enforce Server
Enforce Server computer name.
Enforce Server port.
Enforce Server user credentials.
Symantec Data Loss Prevention Saved Reports
Saved reports IDs
Symantec Data Loss Prevention Connector Status Mapping
DLP Status to CCS Status Mapping
If some statuses are mapped in the External Data Integration workspace before the migration, then the value of those statuses takes precedence and are not overwritten after migration.
Only the DLP statuses that are mapped to the CCS Pass or Fail statuses are migrated. Map the remaining statuses manually to Pass or Fail after you finish the migration.
Symantec Data Loss Prevention Connector Email Notification
Settings for email notifications.
The settings for the From and To fields are migrated. The Notification Server computer settings need to be set up manually.
Import schedule for the incident data
Symantec DLP integration supports only the settings for Once and Daily schedules. Settings for only the "Once" and "Daily" schedule are migrated when you run the utility.
The migration fails if the rules that are created for the Symantec Data Loss Prevention Incidents schema in CCS before the migration have the same name as the rules in the Rules.xml file.
