Use the -details option to obtain information about the infections or violations that are found. When this option is used, a block of text is printed to STDOUT for each file that is infected or that violates an established policy. The output text indicates the name of the file, information about the infection or the violation, and the result of the scan. For example, consider the following command:
Virus name or description of the container violation
Virus ID for viruses or pseudo-ID for policy violations
Infected, repaired, or deleted
The output data mirrors the information that Symantec Protection Engine returns for each infection or violation that is identified. It might not reflect the final disposition of the file. The code for the scan results indicates the final disposition of the file. This information is also displayed when you use the -verbose option.
