The quiz feature returns a score after the user has submitted the response. Questions are assigned a whole number value. The quiz feature is used to provide different messages based on the assigned point range.
The author must use the Weight Wizard to add a custom scale to each answer. The correct answer must have the minimal weight value (1). The other answers can be assigned any value greater than the minimal value (1). All answers must be assigned a weight value.
The quiz feature is implemented as part of the assessment creation process.
The author can do the following:
Assign a minimum passing score percentile.
Provide the number of chances a respondent has to submit a questionnaire.
Enable the Show result option if you want the questions and the user's answers to be displayed on the Result Summary page.
Enable the Show correct answers after last attempt option if you want the correct answers to be displayed after the last attempt or upon the successful completion of the questionnaire.
Enable the Allow printing details option if you want to grant the user the permission to print details of the questionnaire.
The user receives one of the following scores after the submission:

The responses are submitted as evidence.
The author determines the number of times that the user can answer the questionnaire. The responses are not submitted as evidence.
The number of chances to retake the questionnaire has been reached. The responses are submitted as evidence.
