After you configure your Active Directory sync profiles, you can test any of your Active Directory server connections. For example, you may want to test the server connection before you run a manual synchronization or after an automatic synchronization fails. In ServiceDesk, you can test the connection on the Active Directory Sync Profiles page.
If the connection test fails, report it to the administrator who manages your Active Directory servers.
In the Process Manager portal, click Admin > Active Directory > Sync Profiles.
On the Active Directory Sync Profiles page, under Active Directory Sync Profiles, at the far right of the specific sync profile name, click the Actions symbol (orange lightning), and click Test AD Server.
After you view the message that reports the success or failure of the connection, you can close the message dialog box.
