Reset Password lets you submit a request for an end user in need of an Active Directory password reset. Reset Password is an Active Directory self-service catalog item.

The manager - direct report relationship must be set in Active Directory. If this relationship is not set, the request fails.
To request an Active Directory password reset
In the Process Manager portal, click Submit Request.
On the Submit Request page, under Service Catalog, click IT Services.
Click Reset Password.
In the Specify AD Server dialog box, in the drop-down list, select the Active Directory server to which you want to connect.
In the Request Form dialog box, provide the following information as follows:
Type the name of the user who needs a password reset.
Select one of the following notification methods:
Email the user's manager for approval
An email is sent to the user's manager to the email address on file in Active Directory.
Call the user
The designated Active Directory administrator contacts the user at the phone number on file in Active Directory
If the administrator fails to make the contact by phone, the manager email runs next.
When you are finished, click Continue.
In the Confirm Request dialog box, verify the request and the user details.
When you are finished, click Confirm.
In the Thank You dialog box, note the request ID.
